Palouse Falls State Park is located in rural central Washington State and features a beautiful waterfall coming down into a basalt canyon. From photos I’ve seen online, this state park looks like a waterfall nirvana. It looks like a waterfall you’d see in a place like Iceland. As the old cliche goes – “Pictures don’t do it justice!” – I expected Palouse Falls to be better in person. Unfortunately, in this case, the photos make it look better than it is.
