Brooks Lake Creek Falls Waterfall – Near Dubois, Wyoming
Brooks Lake Creek Falls is a nice-looking waterfall located in the Shoshone National Forest, right off of Togwotee Pass, which is the highway that connects Grand Teton National Park with Dubois, Wyoming. If you’re headed to Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Park, this is a quick stop you can make to see a beautiful waterfall.
Brooks Lake Creek Falls Wyoming – Location and Details
Location: Brooks Lake Creek Falls is located at the Falls Campground, right off of US Highway 26. If you’re driving westbound (so in the direction of heading toward Grand Teton National Park), you won’t be able to see the sign for the pullout – the Brooks Falls campground sign only faces eastbound traffic, however, if you’re traveling westbound, you can still make a left turn – you just need to keep an eye out or have the location plugged into your GPS.

Visiting Brooks Lake Creek Falls
When you arrive, you’ll find designated parking for the waterfall – this is a campground, so unless you’re camping here, please park in the lot for Brooks Lake Creek Falls. You’ll have a short hike of about a 1/4 mile to the waterfall viewing area. This is a flat, easy-to-follow dirt trail that pretty much anyone could do.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of the area, and if you visit at the right time in summer, you may see wildflowers. We were here in late July and there were plenty of these pretty purple wildflowers everywhere!
There isn’t any other trails or access points to view or photograph the waterfall other than what you see at the viewing area.
Camping at Brooks Lake Creek Falls
Like I mentioned before, this waterfall is located at the campground, and although I haven’t camped here myself, it looked beautiful and very well-maintained. The seculed setting within the Shoshone National Forest can’t be beat – plus, the sites are easily accessible from US Highway 26 – even though you’re so close to the highway, you completely forget that it’s right there! Prices were $15 for no hookups and $20 for hookups. This is officially known as the “Falls Campground” so if you’re interested in more, that’s what I’d google for more information or reviews.
