Copper River Princess Wilderness Hotel is the best hotel in the area and surprisingly affordable. Copper River, Alaska is in the middle of nowhere and there isn’t much lodging to choose from here. Most of the other places in area are sketchy roadhouse-type lodging with shared bathrooms or really weird B&Bs.

I was hesitant on visiting Patrick’s Point State Park, knowing that we’d only spend maybe ~2 hours here at most, and then be on to the next spot.
