Bearadise Motel review – Idaho Springs, Colorado

Update 2023: The Bearadise Motel closed in 2022.
The Bearadise Motel in Idaho Springs, Colorado is an absolutely adorable little family-owned motel and I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here while on a solo road trip, with my dog.

Location:
2725 Colorado Ave
Idaho Springs, CO 80452
This is a great location right in downtown Idaho Springs. You can walk to nearby restaurants. I stayed here as there were some hikes I wanted to do with my dog in the area, and it was a great location, especially for the St. Mary’s Glacier hike.
Price:
I paid roughly $75 for one night here in mid September.
Rooms at the Bearadise Motel

This is a motorcourt-style motel, where you can park right outside your room. The room was ADORABLE. Rooms are large, squeaky clean, I loved the decor, bed was comfy, and loved that I could park directly outside my room.

The room has a refrigerator, microwave, small table and chairs, and plenty of plug-ins for your electronic devices.

The Bearadise Motel is pet-friendly – I had no issues staying here with my black Labrador retriever (and he seemed to enjoy his stay as well!)
The staff was great – I booked it online and when I pulled up to check in, they knew exactly who I was – such great service. And so friendly.
This is in walking distance to a bunch of restaurants in the area. I needed to do laundry during my stay and there is a reasonably-priced laundromat just down the road, within easy walking distance.

Idaho Springs is a small town and home to some very shady motels – the Bearadise Motel was very reasonable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to say that this is the best hotel in Idaho Springs Colorado. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat – and on my two week trip, this was one of my favorite places I stayed
