So of course I made it a point to stay at the Best Western Space Age Lodge Hotel when we visited Organ Pipe National Monument. We absolutely loved the quirky alien theming and thought the rooms were very nice.

Copper River Princess Wilderness Hotel is the best hotel in the area and surprisingly affordable. Copper River, Alaska is in the middle of nowhere and there isn’t much lodging to choose from here. Most of the other places in area are sketchy roadhouse-type lodging with shared bathrooms or really weird B&Bs.

I was hesitant on visiting Patrick’s Point State Park, knowing that we’d only spend maybe ~2 hours here at most, and then be on to the next spot. Additionally, knowing that I’ve seen a lot of coastal scenery on this trip and past trips, I wasn’t sure if I was in for the same ol/same ol stuff you could see for free on a roadside pull out. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
